Alpine INE-W611DC (Caravan)
The Alpine INE-W990BT / 990HDMI has been our best-selling navigation player of all time. Now, this enduring favorite has been completely updated, and the new model, equipped with Caravan software, is called Alpine INE-W611DC.
The INE-W611DC (C = Caravan) includes special navigation tailored for motorhomes and heavy vehicles. Once you have entered your vehicle's external dimensions and weight into the device, these will always be taken into account in navigation. The navigation system will not attempt to guide you to places where it is not allowed or even possible to drive, for example, with a motorhome or a vehicle combination.
TomTom maps and three years of free map updates, as well as faster navigation. The player also features a CD/DVD mechanism, Bluetooth, RDS and DAB+ tuners, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, two USB ports, two camera connections, and so on.
All-In-One Solution
The Alpine INE-W611DC is the right solution when you want a navigation device with the most comprehensive multimedia features possible. You can listen to CDs or watch DVD movies, listen to FM or DAB+ tuner, connect your phone via USB cable to enable Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features, stream music wirelessly directly from your phone, connect, for example, Alpine's DigiTV to the player's HDMI input, or play music and video files from a USB stick.
Built-in Navigation with TomTom Maps
iGo Primo NextGen navigation uses TomTom maps and includes pre-installed maps of 48 European countries. Entering a destination is simple, and you can also choose a destination from hundreds of thousands of pre-set points of interest, such as service stations, restaurants, or shopping centers. In larger cities, some buildings are presented as stylish 3D images, and lane guidance facilitates merging in cities and on motorways.
Note: The INE-W611DC is a navigation player specifically equipped for motorhomes, camper vans, and heavy vehicles. Once the physical dimensions (length, width, weight) of the vehicle and any trailers have been entered into the device, the navigation will always take these factors into account in route calculation.
TomTom maps, with three years of free updates
The Alpine INE-W611DC includes maps of 48 countries, provided by TomTom. You can update the maps free of charge for three years via the alpine.naviextras.com website.
Two USB ports
Two USB ports allow, for example, charging your phone at the same time, while a USB stick or external hard drive is connected to the other USB port. The USB port supports MP3, FLAC, WMA, and AAC audio files, as well as MP4, h246, MKV, and AVI video files. The 1.5 amp connections charge the phone quickly.
DVD / CD mechanism
DVD playback allows watching movies on the 6.5″ screen when the car is parked. The INE-W611DC also supports DVD-R/-RW discs and DivX files.
Sound adjustments
The INE-W611DC includes very comprehensive sound adjustment options, such as six-channel time alignment and high-pass and low-pass filters.
RDS and DAB+ tuners
In addition to the traditional RDS radio, the INE-W611DC includes a digital DAB radio, which allows listening to digital radio broadcasts abroad.
Connections for two cameras
The INE-W611DC supports two cameras. You can install an Alpine HDR rearview camera at the back of your car and another camera at the front. In motorhomes and vans, it is popular to use a side camera in addition to the rearview camera, which provides a view of the passenger side, making it much easier to drive next to a sidewalk or wall.
Android Auto & Apple CarPlay compatibility
If your phone supports Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you can connect it to the Alpine via a USB cable and use the tailored applications from your phone directly on the Alpine screen. For example, call management is easy from the Alpine display, and the player can, for example, read aloud incoming Messenger or WhatsApp messages.
