Alpine ILX-F115S906 11″ Halo player for MB Sprinter and VW Crafter

Large – Larger – Alpine Halo 11
The ILX-F115S906 is a head unit with an XXL 11″ WXGA touchscreen, designed for the Mercedes Benz Sprinter (W906) and VW Crafter. The ILX-F115S906 fits perfectly into the Sprinter / Crafter dashboard and supports the car's original steering wheel controls, bringing all modern multimedia features to the vehicle. The head unit can be installed in all Sprinters / Crafters that originally had an Audio5, Audio10, Audio15, or Audio20 system (information on these head units can be found at the bottom of the page).

11″ XXL HD Display
The Alpine Halo11 features a 1280 x 720p (WXGA) resolution, and its screen area is 49% larger than the highly popular Alpine Halo 9 head unit. Icons, menus, and details on the display will appear even larger and sharper.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
The iLX-F115S906 works wirelessly with your iPhone, allowing you to make and receive calls, dictate messages using Siri or WhatsApp, and use apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Spotify streaming, all while your phone is in your pocket.

Original Steering Wheel Controls
If your car is equipped with steering wheel controls, these will also work with the ILX-F115S906. You can perform basic functions without taking your hands off the wheel, such as muting the head unit, changing the source or radio station, adjusting the volume, etc.

Two USB Inputs
The Alpine Halo11 does not include a CD/DVD mechanism, but thanks to its two USB connections, you can, for example, charge your phone via one port and have a USB stick or hard drive in the other to play music and video files.

Angle, Depth, and Height Adjustment
When installing the iLX-F115S906 into the dashboard, there are several different installation possibilities. The screen's depth adjustment has two positions, and there are five different height options. The screen's tilt angle can be continuously adjusted, and unlike the first-generation Halo head unit, the screen's tilt can also be adjusted after installation.

World's First Car Stereo with Class-D Amplifier
The Alpine iLX-F115S906 is the world's first aftermarket car stereo with a built-in 4 x 50W Class-D amplifier. The advantage of Class-D is its incredibly high efficiency (approximately 90%) compared to Class AB amplifiers (approximately 50-70%). New and almost silent high-speed fans keep the head unit cool.

Sound Quality Pioneer
Alpine's sound quality has become a benchmark worldwide, against which other head unit brands are always compared.
The 56-band parametric equalizer, two-way crossovers, six-channel digital time correction, and separate Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander allow you to fine-tune the sound exactly to your preference.
And that's not all, as the iLX-F115S906 is Hi-Res Audio certified and capable of playing 96kHz / 1.536 kbps lossless files from USB in FLAC, WAV, and APE formats.

TIDAL App
Alpine ILX-705D / ILX-F905D / ILX-F115D are the world's first aftermarket car stereos that enable completely uncompressed music streaming from TIDAL. With Alpine, a WiFi connection is established, e.g., to a phone's hotspot, after which Alpine directly connects to TIDAL's servers. Music is not compressed or packaged at any stage, ensuring the best possible sound quality!
When the phone's hotspot and TIDAL are active, Apple CarPlay exceptionally requires the phone to be connected to the head unit via a USB cable.
The TIDAL app requires the head unit software to be updated to version 2.0.000.

Entertainment on the Big Screen
In addition to the traditional RDS tuner, you also have a digital DAB radio, as well as the ability to play video files (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV) via the USB connection. Bluetooth, in turn, allows music playback from your phone and hands-free calls, and the HDMI input lets you bring video and audio from an external device. When you connect your Android phone with a USB cable, you get access to all Android Auto functions, such as Spotify, Google Maps, Waze, etc.

Camera Management
A rearview camera is an accessory we recommend for every car. The camera image automatically appears on the large 11″ screen when reverse gear is engaged. Guide lines can also be enabled in the camera view and adjusted to your car's dimensions, making reversing and judging distances even easier.
The ILX-F115S906 includes two camera inputs, so you can install both a rearview and a front camera in your car without additional adapters.
Due to the head unit's large display, we recommend Alpine MultiView cameras (HCE-C2100RD rearview camera and HCE-C2600FD front camera), which have sufficient 1280 x 960 resolution, or alternatively, a rearview camera to be installed in conjunction with the MB Sprinter's auxiliary brake light. The brake light camera requires an AH-Cama-Alp1 adapter.

Alpine DVR-C320S Dash Cam Control
The Alpine Halo 11 is compatible with the Alpine DVR-C320S dash cam. You can view the camera's live feed and recorded footage on the large screen, and easily change camera settings from the touchscreen.

Screen Protector KAE-HF11DA (Accessory)
We strongly recommend the KAE-HF11DA screen protector for the ILX-F115S906 head unit. The film prevents fingerprints, protects the screen from scratches, and improves screen readability in direct sunlight. With the film, your screen will stay like new. The KAE-HF11DA also includes a microfiber cloth and a plastic squeegee and tape for dust particle removal for installation.

Wireless Volume Control (Accessory)
The Alpine RUE-BK01 is a Bluetooth-enabled volume control that can be paired with the ILX-F115S906. By pressing the volume knob, you can display the rearview or front camera image.
