Alpine iLX-F115D Halo 11
Big – Bigger – Alpine Halo 11
If you want the largest possible screen in your car, the Alpine Halo 11 (iLX-F115D) is made for you. The XXL-sized 11″ screen is especially suitable for vehicles with a large dashboard, such as vans, motorhomes, caravans, lorries, and vehicle combinations, but the Halo 11 can of course be installed in almost any car with a 1-DIN or 2-DIN installation slot.
Note: A 1-DIN installation metal frame is not included. A separate product, Halo9/Halo 11 Installation Frame, is available.
11″ XXL-sized HD display
The Alpine Halo 11 features a 1280 x 720p (WXGA) resolution, and its screen area is 49% larger than the highly popular Alpine Halo 9 player. This means icons, menus, and details appear even larger and clearer. The screen angle can be adjusted, and the player can be installed in almost any car with a 1-DIN or 2-DIN slot for the player.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
The iLX-F115D works wirelessly with your iPhone, allowing you to make and receive calls, dictate messages via Siri or WhatsApp, and use apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Spotify streaming while your phone is in your pocket.
Two USB inputs
The Alpine Halo 11 does not include a CD/DVD mechanism, but thanks to its two USB ports, you can charge your phone via one port while the other can host a USB stick or hard drive to play music and video files.
Angle, depth, and height adjustment
When installing the iLX-F115D into the dashboard, there are several installation possibilities. The screen's depth adjustment has two positions, and there are five different height options. The screen's tilt angle can be continuously adjusted, and unlike the first-generation Halo 9 player, the screen's tilt can also be adjusted after the player has been installed.
World's first car stereo with a Class D amplifier
The Alpine iLX-F115D is the world's first aftermarket car stereo with a built-in 4 x 50W amplifier. The advantage of a Class D amplifier is its incredibly high efficiency (approximately 90%) compared to the efficiency of a Class AB amplifier (approximately 50-70%). New and nearly silent high-speed fans keep the player cool.
Sound quality pioneer
Alpine's sound quality has become a globally recognized benchmark against which other stereo brands are always compared.
The 56-band parametric equalizer, two-way crossovers, six-channel digital time correction, and separate Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander allow you to adjust the sound exactly how you want it.
And that's not all, as the iLX-F115D is Hi-Res Audio certified, capable of playing lossless 96kHZ / 1.536 kbps files from USB in FLAC, WAV, and APE formats.
Entertainment on the large screen
In addition to the traditional RDS tuner, you also have digital DAB radio, as well as the ability to play video files (MP4, MOV, FLV, MKV) via the USB connection. Bluetooth, in turn, allows music playback from your phone and hands-free calls, and you can bring video and audio from an external device to the HDMI input. When you connect your Android phone with a USB cable, you gain access to all Android Auto functions, such as Spotify, Google Maps, Waze, etc.
Vehicle Data-Bus
If your car is equipped with factory-installed parking sensors, Alpine offers optional info adapters for many car models that allow the parking sensors and original steering wheel controls to function with the Halo 11 player.
Camera management
A reversing camera is an accessory we recommend for every car. The camera image automatically appears on the large 11″ screen when reverse gear is engaged. The camera's guidelines can be adjusted according to your car's dimensions, making reversing and judging distances even easier.
Due to the player's large screen, we recommend connecting only Alpine MultiView cameras with a sufficient 1280 x 960 resolution.
Alpine DVR-C320S dash camera control
The Alpine Halo 11 is compatible with the Alpine DVR-C320S dash camera. You can view the camera's live feed and recordings on the large screen, and easily change camera settings from the touchscreen.
