Vaikuttava basso, yksityiskohtainen diskantti ja yhtenäinen äänimaailma ovat todiste Bowers & Wilkinsin kolmannen sukupolven 700-sarjan kehittämisessä hyödynnetystä suunnittelutaidosta, josta taas suuri osa on peräisin yrityksen huippuluokan 800 D4 -malleista. Eikä tämä voisi enempää päteä missään muualla kuin 703 S3:ssa, kapeassa lattiakaiuttimessa, joka nyt ensi kertaa on saanut päällensä diskantin yhdistettynä 165 millimetrin Aerofoil-bassoelementtiin ja 150 millimetrin Continuum-kartioiseen keskiääniseen. Tämä lattiamalli tarjoaa mukaansatempaavia ja tunnepitoisia kuunteluhetkiä ja tuo B&W:n huippusuorituskyvyn entistä paremmin saataville useammillekin musiikin ystäville.
