ARMODYNAMIC™
ARMODYNAMIC™ Driver - The prefix "armo" in the ARMODYNAMIC driver comes from the Italian word "armonia," which means musical harmony.
The name ARMODYNAMIC itself reflects the perfectly harmonious sound produced by the diaphragm – a sound that is soft, spacious, and detailed.
The diaphragm used in the new AMODYNAMIC driver features a unique three-layer structure where a lightweight foam layer is sandwiched between two rigid outer layers made from a blend of PBO fiber (ZYLON), paper, and resin. This structure achieves an ideal balance between lightness, rigidity, and internal loss – offering fast response, high resolution, and refined sound quality that surpasses the performance of single-layer diaphragms.
HOUSING
The YH-C3000's wooden housing is crafted from high-quality beech wood, also used in Yamaha grand pianos. Beech wood is lightweight, highly rigid, and produces a natural, uncolored sound. These properties allow it to bring out the strengths of the ARMODYNAMIC driver in the best possible way, contributing to excellent sound separation and fast response time.
Isolated Key Experience - The closed-back enclosure maintains privacy and prevents sound leakage, while offering good suitability for various environments.
The YH-C3000 combines a top-tier construction and comfort for effortless listening. Its stainless steel headband is inherited from the YH-5000SE model, offering robustness and durability. The lightweight body, weighing only 330 grams, ensures a comfortable user experience even during long listening sessions.
The customized earpads have been developed through careful research and testing. They are made from Japanese silk protein leather and memory foam, which together provide excellent sealing and comfort.
