Yamaha's flagship speaker, the NS-5000 MK2, is an updated version of the esteemed NS-5000 model – designed to deliver the purest possible reproduction without compromise. This three-way speaker pair combines Yamaha's decades of speaker expertise with the latest technology and craftsmanship.

Yamaha-developed ZYLON® in all drivers
The tweeter, midrange driver, and even the 30 cm woofer are made from Japanese ZYLON® material – an exceptionally lightweight and rigid fiber whose properties resemble beryllium but without its acoustic drawbacks. The result is a seamless and natural sound image that extends from deep bass to the highest treble.

Acoustically flawless enclosure
The speaker's construction mimics the legendary NS-1000M model: the 65-liter enclosure is made of carefully selected Japanese birch plywood and finished by hand with piano lacquer. Inside the enclosure is Yamaha's proprietary Acoustic Absorber Tube system, which eliminates standing waves in the enclosure without the colorations introduced by damping material.
