Kero is the first floorstanding speaker from Finnish manufacturer Taipuu. Inspired by the nature of Lapland, the Kero reaches the pinnacle of audio performance. "Kero" means the top of a fells, so the name already reflects the philosophy behind the speaker's creation - to make a moderately sized speaker with absolutely no compromises. Taipuu speakers are handmade in Kempele, and each speaker is precisely measured to meet its specified requirements.
With a volume of only 28 liters, the Kero is easy to place in any room, both visually and acoustically. Two 6.5-inch long-throw woofers produce astonishingly deep bass response, and there are also four 6.5-inch passive radiators on the sides of the enclosure. The enclosure is designed using 3D modeling to minimize diffraction.
The Kero uses state-of-the-art drivers from Danish Purifi. The power handling of these drivers is in a class of its own, and with good amplification, these compact speakers can produce very high sound pressure with minimal distortion when needed.
Kero is available in satin white and satin black.
