Supra LORAD SPC 2.5 mm2 16 A power cable
Supra LoRad SPC (Low Radiation, Silver Plated Copper) is a mains power cable that was released as part of Supra's 40th anniversary. The properties of silver, the best possible natural electrical conductor, are incomparable, especially as a conductor material. In other respects, the cable corresponds to a top-quality Lo-Rad cable, so efficiency, interference protection, and durability are among the best on the market!
Shielded power cord, which includes Supra LoRad 3 x 2.5 mm2 SPC cable, Supra SWF16S female connector (IEC 60320-C19) and Supra SW-EU straight male connector. LoRad is short for Low Radiation, which means that the radiation generated by current transmission is minimized in the cables. SPC (Silver Plated Copper) means silver-plated conductors to ensure the best possible power transfer. The connectors are coated with 24K gold and the shielding uses a combination of nylon and carbon. Maximum continuous current 16 A. The EU version Schuko plug is the most common standard throughout Europe. Exceptions are Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland and Great Britain. Suitable for LoRad power strips with a current rating of 10-16 A.
Features:
Supra LoRad:
LoRad means low radiation, meaning that the structure of these power cables minimizes both electric and magnetic fields. Give your hi-fi device the most significant advantage, the ability to be silent when needed. Only then will the smallest details and notes be clearly audible, and the background of the time-delayed, real or artificial reflections representing the acoustic environment of the recording will show the conscious hi-fi enthusiast the entire sound space.
LoRad protects both the connected device from external interference and external devices from mains power interference. LoRad MkII is a new model of the LoRad concept, which now features improved shielding, flexibility, bend/fatigue resistance and strength.
In addition to the physical durability of the cable, LoRad has invested in the structure of the conductors. The conductors twisted together with a short radius thus reduce the magnetic field caused by self-induction around the conductors. In addition, the twisted structure reduces the effect of external interference, as the same voltage is induced in all conductors at the same level.
LoRad MkII now includes Supra's unique Carbon/Nylon shielding concept. The semiconducting carbon/nylon shield has better properties than traditional ones, such as bending strength, environmental resistance, higher tensile strength and smaller microphonic effect. The carbon/nylon shield is connected to the protective earth along its entire length, which effectively grounds noise trapped in the shield. "We have tested and evaluated all known shielding types to make as good a cable as possible. Supra's semiconducting Carbon/Nylon shield was the only one that passed the strict safety requirements, and its shielding properties were also the best ever."
Note! Supra LoRad must be connected to a grounded socket to get the full benefit.
NOTE! The connector type is IEC 60320-C19, which is compatible with e.g. Supra's 16 A power strips.

Features:
- LoRad, or Low Radiation, means low radiation from the cable. LoRad cables are therefore well insulated, thus keeping users and nearby electronic devices safe from electromagnetic radiation.
- SPC, or Silver Plated Copper, refers to the silver-plated surface of copper conductors. This structure enables the best electrical conductivity even with transient current, where the current rush phenomenon, i.e., the skin effect, affects power transmission.
- The cable insulation also protects the current from external interference and radiation that could negatively affect the power supply. This way you can enjoy your Hi-Fi completely without interference or interruptions.
- The structure of the conductor connections prevents radiation leaking from the connections, thus reducing, for example, noise in adjacent connectors.
- LoRad produces cleaner sound, better picture, and a healthier home and work environment, without harmful radiation fields.
- Unbeatable price-quality ratio
- Made in Sweden!
