Rega Valve Isis - reference level CD player

The Rega Valve Isis is a special version of Rega's flagship CD player that takes music reproduction to a whole new level by combining digital precision with the warm sound of tube technology. This player is designed for demanding enthusiasts who want both the purity of modern digital technology and the naturalness and nuance provided by classic tubes.

The Valve Isis shares the digital and USB-based architecture with the original Isis model. Its difference lies in the analog signal path, which is implemented with a tube amplifier and passive filtering. This gives the sound natural warmth, three-dimensionality, and organic tone.

The analog output stage is implemented with two military-spec 5814A (ECC82/12AU7) triodes and two ECC88 (6DJ8/6922) triodes. Digital conversion is based on two Wolfson WM8741 DACs (dual mono), which provide excellent dynamics, low distortion, and high resolution.

The casing is made of CNC-machined aluminum and weighs nearly 20 kilograms. The mechanical stability of the structure and separate power supplies ensure interference-free and long-lasting operation.
