Rega Planar 3 RS Edition – Planar 3 on a new level
The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition is built with an entirely new aluminium-faced HPL laminate, creating the stiffest plinth Rega has ever produced for the Planar 3 level. The dark brushed metallic finish with high-gloss black edges provides a striking foundation for the iconic Planar 3.
Neo PSU MK2 and Reference EBLT drive belt
The RS Edition includes a uniquely tuned Neo PSU MK2 power supply, where each motor vibration circuit is finely adjusted per motor. The low-noise 24V motor spins the platter using the Reference EBLT drive belt, ensuring extremely precise speed control.
RB330 tonearm and Nd5 MM cartridge
The legendary, handcrafted RB330 tonearm is fitted and equipped with the award-winning Nd5 moving magnet cartridge. The double bracing technology between the tonearm mounting and the main bearing creates a structurally rigid stressed beam, preventing energy absorption and unwanted resonances.
