Floating Ferrite Jacket
The Audio 40 cable uses a special floating Zn / Mn ferrite jacket that absorbs very high-frequency interference outside the audible audio signal, which also adversely affects the micro-timing of the audible audio signal. Measured at very high frequencies, Audio 40 cables therefore have a vastly cleaner signal transmission than typical cables.
QED Analoc™ RCA Connectors
Instead of the usual bulky brass body, the Analoc connector features extremely high-quality and optimized copper contacts. This prevents the tendency of a changing magnetic field in the conductor to induce eddy currents, which can affect the micro-timing of the audio signal.
Complementary Conductor Technology
Improves timing and detail while preserving the rhythm of the original piece. Unlike conventional analog connections, the Reference Audio 40 uses two conductors made of silver-plated 99.999% oxygen-free copper with different diameters to carry the same audio signal. This results in a clean proprietary path for the high-frequency signal component.
