Optical Ultra High Speed HDMI is our most advanced long cable to date.
It is designed to transmit video and audio at a blistering 48 Gb/s capacity, allowing compressed 10K@120Hz or uncompressed 8K@60Hz video resolution as well as Dolby Atmos audio to be transmitted over long distances of 7.5-20 meters. This high-performance HDMI 2.1 certified cable is the perfect solution for modern AV installations and is capable of handling all current HDMI standards.

Ingenious Hybrid Design
QED's innovative Ultra High Speed Active Optical Technology™ hybrid design combines a copper core with optical fiber, which together are capable of pure video and audio transmission over very long lengths, without the need for an external power supply.
Pure copper conductor cables exceeding three meters in length are susceptible to disruptions in the 48 Gb/s HDMI signal, making it impossible to reliably decode at the receiving end. By replacing four of the nineteen copper cores with optical fiber, data transmission over longer cable runs is not degraded by losses (due to impedance mismatch) or timing variations (due to crosstalk).
QED HDMI Guarantee
All QED HDMI cables undergo rigorous mandatory testing at an HDMI Forum authorized testing center to ensure compatibility with the new 2.1 video standards and to further ensure low electromagnetic radiation levels to reduce the potential for interference with wireless networks, streaming media players, Bluetooth devices, and mobile phones.

High Dynamic Range
High Dynamic Range (HDR) is an imaging technology that provides a higher contrast ratio and brightness. HDR ensures a spectacular image with more detail in both bright and shadowy areas. HDR is often associated with Wide Color Gamut (WCG), which offers an extended color palette. The new QED Performance Optical Ultra High Speed HDMI cable handles these requirements without problems.
