Q Acoustics 5020 speakers, with their compact size, are suitable for many uses. Whether for computer or TV audio, as surround speakers, or simply as a stereo pair for a smaller space, the 5020 speakers are an excellent choice. New technology in a stylish enclosure

The C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) cone profile of the midrange/bass driver ensures good bass reproduction and mid-range and lower-treble reproduction. Harmonic distortion is reduced, and integration with the tweeter is easier.

In the 5000 series speakers, the design is borrowed from Q Acoustics' flagship Concept range. The difference from Concept is that the driver enclosures have been further refined. The tweeter of each model is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the front baffle. The manufacturer's Point-2-Point technology stiffens the cabinet and precisely minimizes resonances.

The appearance of the C3 speaker driver (Continuous Curved Cone™) is subtle, as is the design based on the Concept speaker series. The front surfaces of the speakers are laminated with a butyl rubber layer and a black acrylic trim, which provides excellent vibration damping and a stylish appearance.

The midrange/bass driver represents a completely new design, at the core of which is the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ technology. The cone geometry requires exceptionally high force for optimal performance. A robust magnet is combined with a large voice coil, significantly increasing the driver's motor force - resulting in a 50% increase in power handling and control compared to a similar driver with a 25.4mm voice coil. This leads to a significant improvement in the speaker's dynamic range - especially at bass frequencies.

Stiffened P2P cabinet minimizes resonances

To achieve the best sound quality, the drivers must perform at their best. Q Acoustics utilizes P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing, which effectively improves cabinet rigidity and reduces cabinet resonance. Minimizing cabinet resonance allows for optimal operation of the speaker drivers and provides a cleaner and more accurate sound.
