Q Acoustics 3030c Bookshelf Speaker Pair
Sometimes you might want music to hit you hard in the gut, but your interior design tastes or listening space don't love the idea of large floor-standing speakers. This is where the Q Acoustics 3030c stands out, offering the most extensive and impactful low-frequency reproduction among the 3000c series bookshelf speakers. The affordable and high-performing 3000c speaker series builds upon the great heritage of the 3000i – Q Acoustics' most popular and most awarded speaker series of all time. This latest series continues Q Acoustics' unwavering success in delivering best-in-class audio performance, refined design, and quality construction.
The new 3000c speaker series features the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/bass driver design, first introduced in the award-winning 5000 series and M40 micro-tower speakers. Q Acoustics' latest technical platform elevates the 3000c speaker to a higher class, delivering sound characterized by a clear and fast midrange, controlled yet powerful bass dynamics, and nuanced and detailed high frequencies.
Key Features
P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing - cabinet resonances are minimized with intelligent internal bracing.
Hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated tweeter - tweeter performance remains clean, separated from the vibrations and pressure of the bass driver.
The revolutionary C3 cone is at the heart of the 3000c mid/bass driver design. The cone geometry requires exceptional motor force for optimal performance, so the voice coil is driven by remarkably robust magnets. The control provided by the large magnets ensures excellent dynamic response, capacity, and tight bass. The magnetic field, evenly distributed at different cone positions, reduces harmonic distortion.
Following the tweeter design principle used in the latest Concept series, the driver is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated (floating) from the baffle to prevent internal pressure fluctuations within the cabinet from the adjacent mid/bass driver. The internal chamber is also carefully vented for reduced distortion, and its lower crossover frequency allows for seamless integration around the crossover region.
