If you connect passive speakers to the amplifier, you can switch between 7.2/5.2.2-ch and 5.2-ch + Zone 2 configurations with just the press of a button via the Zone 2 speaker terminals.

The amplifier's HDMI 2.1 section supports 8K/60p video, dynamic HDR passthrough (including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision) to supported TVs, projectors, or gaming displays connected to the eARC-enabled HDMI Main output. HDMI inputs 1-3 and the Main/Sub output support HDMI 2.1 features.

In addition, the amplifier features, among other things, a radio tuner, a high-quality MM phono preamplifier for connecting a turntable, and bidirectional Bluetooth, which allows wireless music streaming either from a smart device to the amplifier or from the amplifier to your wireless Bluetooth headphones.
