The Silver 500 7G is the largest floorstanding speaker in the Silver series. The speaker utilizes two 8″ C-CAM RST II bass drivers, seamlessly matched with a 4″ C-CAM RST II mid-range driver. High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 25mm C-CAM dome tweeter. The Silver 500's sound doesn't lack power or dynamics; what's best is that despite these characteristics, the speaker doesn't sound uncontrolled. Everything remains tightly in check, and even the smallest details are reproduced accurately, even at low volumes. The Silver 500 is an excellent speaker for both home theater and 2-channel main systems.

The Silver 500 model utilizes Monitor Audio's proprietary C-CAM drivers. This is a composite material originally developed for the aerospace industry, characterized by excellent rigidity and light mass. A light and rigid driver moves quickly under the influence of the voice coil guiding the driver cone, and a rigid cone ensures that the cone surface remains stable throughout its entire range of motion. As a result, the Silver 500 speakers are capable of tight and highly dynamic bass reproduction, as well as clear and revealing detail in recordings.

If you are a home theater enthusiast, you can easily build a comprehensive home theater around the Silver 500 7G speakers. The Silver range includes the Silver C250 center speaker, which acoustically matches the main speakers. If the aforementioned is too large, the Radius 200 series center speaker can also be used as a center speaker for the Silver series.

For surround speakers, you can use, for example, the Silver series stand models Silver 50 7G and Silver 100 7G, or the wall-mounted Silver FX model. If these options are too large, the Radius 90 and Radius 225 models from the Radius series can also serve as surround speakers.
