The Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G is the larger bookshelf speaker in the series, renowned for its excellent bass reproduction and generally uplifting and engaging performance.

The Silver 100 is a relatively large standmount/bookshelf speaker whose acoustic design has taken into account its operation near room boundaries such as walls. The truth is that in few homes can speakers be placed 50-100cm away from all wall surfaces, even though this would provide the best sound quality in some cases. The Silver 100 speaker tolerates placement very close to wall surfaces without significant deterioration of the speaker's tonal balance.

The speaker's 8" bass/midrange driver produces a very punchy and impressive bass response even in slightly larger spaces. Your foot will unconsciously start tapping to the rhythm of the music when listening to the Silver 100.

If you are a home theater enthusiast, you can easily build a comprehensive home theater around the Silver 100 speakers. The Silver range includes a suitable center speaker, the Silver C250. If the aforementioned option is too large, the Radius 200 series center speaker is also suitable for use as a center speaker in the Silver series.

For surround speakers, you can use, for example, the Silver series standmount models Silver 50 and 100, or the wall-mounted Silver FX model. If these options are too large, the Radius 90 and Radius 225 models from the Radius series can also serve as surround speakers. The Monitor Audio Silver 100 model utilizes Monitor Audio's own C-CAM drivers. This is a composite material originally developed for the aerospace industry, characterized by excellent rigidity and light mass. The light and rigid driver moves quickly under the influence of the voice coil driving the cone, and the rigid cone ensures that the cone surface remains stable throughout its entire range of motion.
