The Marantz Model 40n is a new high-quality stereo amplifier that meets today's requirements. The device features an HDMI ARC connector, network capabilities, an MM phono input, and a host of connectors including a power amplifier input.
The traditional Class AB amplifier delivers 70 watts per channel, but the amplifier's power supply has been improved by adding a second pair of capacitors, allowing the power supply to deliver more current, enabling the amplifier to drive larger speakers and more demanding loads with better control.
The sensitive line inputs are housed in a metal shield, as are the DAC circuit and HDMI card. This ensures that both digital and interference-prone analog signals are processed as cleanly as possible.
