The new generation of the Klipsch Reference Premier series updates the previous lineup with, among other things, completely renewed drivers and a 90 x 90 Tractrix tweeter horn, higher power handling and maximum sound pressure, and a significantly stiffer cabinet structure than before. The connectivity has also been improved. In addition, separate connections for Dolby Atmos speakers are found at the rear of the speaker, making it easy to add a ceiling channel to the setup.

Klipsch's 90° x 90° Tractrix tweeter horn produces live-like detail and expressiveness with clean and natural sound reproduction. The new generation Tractrix horn, larger in size than before, produces a wider sound field and more controlled directivity.

The Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter is one of Klipsch's most significant creations, having garnered praise and reputation worldwide! The LTS tweeter driver's reproduction is minimized in terms of distortion for better and more distinct sound reproduction. An open tweeter enclosure reduces unwanted resonance-producing standing waves, resulting in more detailed and clearer high-frequency reproduction.

A special feature of the Reference Premier series, the Cerametallic copper woofer, has also been updated. The driver is extremely rigid and light to minimize distortion and achieve better performance. The new voice coils are 70% larger in diameter than the previous ones, which translates into better power handling and more flawless reproduction. The Tractrix bass reflex port reduces turbulence and distortion, thereby improving bass reproduction.

The high-quality MDF construction with updated internal bracing reduces cabinet vibration for a more uncolored and better sound accuracy.

In appearance, the RP-8000F II is elegantly streamlined. Thoughtful details, such as the magnetic front grille, give the speaker a finished and modern look. The aluminum feet, which make minimal contact with the floor, are not only stylish but also reduce mechanical vibration transmitted to the speakers compared to ABS plastic and MDF feet.
