The iDSD Valkyrie is designed for those who demand more than just power or precision—it's for those who want to control the mood and emotion of their music. Combining sonic sculptability with cutting-edge technology, the Valkyrie packs a massive amount of sound control within its chassis. It features K2HD technology, DSD remastering, six digital filters, and analog signal processing, giving you complete command over your audio playback.

The Valkyrie also offers a quad-DAC circuit architecture, a peak power of 5,700 mW, lossless Bluetooth, and up to 18 hours of battery life, making it superior to any other portable amplifier.

Inspired by the artistry of mastering engineers, the Valkyrie includes a custom DSD remastering algorithm driven by a specially programmed FPGA processor. Similar technology is used in Sony's mastering studios, and DSD remastering enhances the sound quality of any file by boosting resolution and reducing distortion. The result is audio that rivals a professionally remastered recording.

In addition to digital customization, the Valkyrie also offers fully analog, renowned sound enhancement modes:

  • XPresence adds mid-range presence, bringing recordings closer and making them more immersive.
  • XSpace restores the expansive and spacious soundstage of recordings.

Mythical name. Legendary design.

The Valkyrie is built around four Burr-Brown DACs with a hybrid multibit solution, leveraging our long-standing experience with the legendary Philips TDA1541A multibit chip.

This design allows eight differential signal pairs to be combined, capturing the magic and dynamics of the iconic multibit chip, but with improved low-level linearity for breathtaking detail.

To minimize channel interference, the analog signal path is housed on its own separate PCB, isolated from the digital components.

We've equipped the Valkyrie with the latest Bluetooth technology, based on Qualcomm's top-tier QCC518x chipset and the aptX Lossless codec.

aptX Lossless offers a bitrate of up to 1,200 kbps, making it the first and only Bluetooth codec capable of wirelessly transmitting CD-quality audio without loss.

For those who want high-resolution Bluetooth playback, the Valkyrie also supports 96 kHz/24-bit audio with LDAC and LHDC/HWA codecs.

The iDSD Valkyrie also includes other advanced next-generation technologies, including full xMEMS support.
