Step into a world where the boundaries between you and the music simply disappear.
A masterpiece of design and functionality, the iDSD PHANTOM combines a reference-level DAC, an ultra-precise network player, and a powerful headphone amplifier – the holy trinity of iFi innovation, born from decades of experience.
Beneath the surface lies professional-grade technology that gives the listener complete control over the music: DSD re-mastering up to DSD2048, along with K2HD technology, offer sound control not achievable even outside the world's finest mastering studios. XBass Pro, XSpace Pro, digital filters, and real-time circuit selection complete the package like an artist's final brushstrokes on an auditory canvas.
Bring the studio home – and get lost in the performance.
Three Sounds. One PHANTOM.
PHANTOM's user-selectable circuit stages allow you to choose between three distinctly different sonic characters – each its own way of disappearing into the music.
Choose your sonic signature:
Design serving fidelity.
At the heart of the PHANTOM are four Burr-Brown DACs in a hybrid multi-bit configuration, drawing inspiration from our long-standing experience with the legendary multi-bit Philips TDA1541A chip.
The interleaved architecture, originally introduced in the Pro iDSD, captures the magic and impact of the iconic multi-bit chipset while providing excellent low-signal linearity – resulting in breathtakingly detailed audio reproduction.
The world premiere of DSD2048.
PHANTOM's Remastering Engine brings studio-grade upsampling to your home – and now, for the first time, to the unprecedented accuracy level of DSD2048.
In normal mode, native DSD signals are routed directly to the DAC, while PCM signals pass through a user-selected digital filter. In Remastered mode, the signal is converted to DSD512, DSD1024, or the new pinnacle, DSD2048.
DSD re-mastering increases resolution and minimizes distortion, unlocking a level of sound quality previously reserved only for the world's most prestigious mastering studios.
