Premium 3-way stand-alone kit
The Hertz MPK 163.3 three-way separate series is designed to produce a wide frequency response and special attention has been paid to its bass response, so that it would produce decent low frequencies even in cars where it is not possible to add a subwoofer. The MP 165.3 midbass of the series features an advanced V-cone geometry that allows better airflow than a traditional cone, which means that the sound of the element does not become distorted even when listening loudly. Due to the flexible, edgeless suspension, the element's range of motion has been stretched to an exceptionally long length.
The included MPCX 3.3 crossover is specifically designed to get the most out of the MP 165.3 midbass and MP 70.3 midrange, and its crossover frequency has been raised quite high to ensure a seamless transition to the midrange. The crossover frequency is also user-adjustable, as the MP 70.3 is capable of reproducing very high frequencies for its size. The crossover also allows for fine-tuning of the overall treble level (0/+2 dB) to match its overall sound level to the midbass and midrange.
Since this is a high-quality stand-alone set that is designed to withstand high power levels, we recommend connecting an amplifier to the system to drive the speakers. The additional power will achieve significantly better bass reproduction, both in terms of solidity and dimension, and the entire system will sound stronger and more dynamic when needed. Our recommendation for a suitable amplifier for the speaker set is the Hertz Mille Power series ML POWER 4, which has sufficient power reserves to unleash the true potential of the speaker set.

MP 25.3 tweeter features
1. Soft dome tweeter made of Tetolo fiber produces a natural and detailed sound.

The MP70.3 is equipped with two Neodymium magnets and the driver produces an astonishingly bright and seductive midrange reproduction, thus perfectly suited as a partner for the powerful bass produced by the MP165P.3 woofer of the same series, while the MP25.3 tweeter takes care of the reproduction of the highest frequencies. The large 20 mm voice coil maximizes the reproduction of dynamics; the cone, implemented with V-cone technology, produces a wide radiation pattern so that every passenger can enjoy the sweet tones of the natural midrange. The unlimited top suspension has been selected for the driver because it has enabled the upper limit frequency to be raised above average, giving the end user considerable freedom to fine-tune the crossover frequency.
MP 70.3 midrange characteristics
1. The symmetrical Neodymium dual magnet structure is implemented using the speaker element modeling application (FEM) and this is heard in the sound as amazing dynamic reproduction and accuracy.
2. The 20 mm CCAW double-layer voice coil is wrapped in a Polyamide tube with eight pressure relief holes. This results in a high instantaneous power handling capacity and no compression when listening at high volume.
3. The exponential V-cone cone profile is made of a pressed pulp cone with cotton fibers, which has the advantage of the cone being simultaneously lightweight and stiff, resulting in excellent linearity in music reproduction.
4. Thanks to the unlimited rubber upper suspension, sensitivity and upper bass reproduction are significantly better than conventional drivers.
5. Vibration-free rubber magnet cover dampens vibrations and is removable if space is limited.
6. The acoustically transparent aluminum body with elegant diamond-cut finish is equipped with the Hertz logo.
7. The included protective grille keeps the element safe without affecting the sound it reproduces.
