Hertz's Cento CK 165 two-way speaker series features a new C 26 tweeter with a Tetolon cone and 20 mm voice coil, which enables it to produce unprecedentedly accurate and bright treble reproduction in its price range.

The development of the C 165 woofer took a lot of time to find the perfect cone material and as a result, SPP-M (Semi Pressed Paper-Mica) was selected as the material to be used, i.e. a semi-pressed paper mixture that is both very stiff and light, reacting to even the smallest fluctuations in the music signal extremely quickly and dynamically. The CCX 2 crossover allows fine adjustment of the tweeter level (0, +3dB), which is useful if the tweeter has to be installed behind the original speaker grilles, which otherwise attenuate the frequency range reproduced by the tweeter.

CCX 2 crossover features

1. Thanks to the treble level adjustment found in the crossover, the attenuation caused by the installation location can be compensated for and the timbre can be adjusted to suit each listener's ear.
2. Low-loss capacitors and low-resistance inductances are made of pure copper to ensure the sound is as transparent and clear as possible at high frequencies.

3. The compact distribution filter with metal finish and ventilation holes is suitable for concealed installation, but can also be seen in surface installations.
