Ground Zero GZNW 30SPL-D1
Ground Zero's GZNW SPL drivers are designed to withstand truly extreme motion, produce wild sound pressures and earth-shaking bass.
These elements are designed using Klippel optimization. The test periods last 10 hours and during them the element's power endurance is exceeded fourfold and its behavior is studied with numerous different measurements. This allows us to eliminate weak points already in the design phase and the end result is an element without weaknesses!
The large and powerful magnet keeps the three-inch voice coil under control perfectly. The sturdy cast body is designed so that it breathes properly and does not hinder the bass in the cabinet. Thanks to the long voice coil and deep magnet, the driver has a travel range of 70 millimeters! This long travel range creates amazing bass reproduction at all frequencies, even the lowest ones. The driver's reinforced paper cone is really stiff and the stitch-reinforced attachment to the top suspension is guaranteed to last.
