The Ground Zero Iridium XSPL brings a new subwoofer element designed for sound pressure use to an unprecedentedly affordable price range!
The subwoofer has been redesigned in many ways compared to the old GZIW 10spl subwoofer:
- Honeycomb patterned reinforced paper cone
- Significantly lower Fs (40.8 Hz in the old element)
- Frame with the familiar ″GZ″ logo from the GZIW 10SPL-EXT model
Don't let the low price fool you. This driver is excellent in terms of performance for its price. More design work has been done than on most manufacturers' higher price ranges. Klippel optimization involves 10 hours of testing, where the driver's behavior is measured in many ways and weak points are dug out before production. This creates a very high-performance driver. Thanks to the flat impedance response, the driver absorbs power well. Thanks to the carefully designed voice coil and its cooling, power endurance is excellent. The long travel allows for ample sound pressure levels even at lower frequencies.
