Ground Zero GZHW 16SPL
The Hydrogen SPL drivers are designed using Klippel optimization. During the 10-hour testing, the driver's behavior is examined using numerous measurements, thus identifying weak points and problems that require improvement early in the design process.
The element is driven at up to four times the power it is rated for. The end result is an element with a very flat impedance response, meaning it receives power well at all frequencies, has good sensitivity, and can handle power well.
If you want to play LOUD, the Hydrogen SPL is an excellent choice for a driver. The solid and well-breathing cast body holds the driver together and allows the subwoofer to breathe properly through the body.
Effective voice coil ventilation and a sufficiently sturdy voice coil keep the coil's operating temperature correct even during heavy use.
The double lower suspension controls the movement of the cone, and the stitched fastening of the upper suspension and cone withstands even the most extreme movements.
