Ground Zero GZDSP 4-8XII
Ground Zero's GZDSP 4-8XII is an excellent choice as a processor to replace the original car stereo.
The device has 4 input channels, both line-level and speaker-level. You can use two or four of these as you wish.
On the output side, there are 8 output channels, the properties of which can be defined for each channel yourself. With this device you can make all the splits of a 4-way system and the delays of each element. Or an active 2-way front end, subwoofer and rear speakers. Or whatever combinations come to mind that are enough for 8 output channels.
When using speaker-level inputs, the device activates when it detects a signal, so a separate excitation from the player is not required. In addition, the DSP can also forward the excitation current to the amplifiers. These features make it easier to connect the device after the original car's players.
