The G Two is a highly versatile and compact two-way loudspeaker, designed especially for music listening, computer use or home theatre environments. Thanks to active speaker technology, the G Two can be connected directly to the line-level output connectors of, for example, a computer sound card, a portable MP3 player, a home theatre amplifier or other audio system.

The G Two features a die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) cabinet developed in collaboration with designer Harri Koskinen, which enables a very large internal volume relative to the size of the speaker. The cast structure is mechanically strong and acoustically rigid, and the softly rounded corners of the cabinet eliminate reflections caused by the edges of the speaker cabinet.

The G Two also features a Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) shaped around the tweeter, which enables a very flat frequency response both on and off the listening axis. The long and curved reflex tube ends in an expanding opening at the back of the speaker, providing excellent precise bass reproduction without disturbing airflow noise. Thanks to these solutions, the stereo image accuracy and bass reproduction of the G Two are exceptionally good for the speaker's external dimensions.
Every Genelec G Two comes standard with an Iso-Pod™ (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler™) desktop stand. The Iso-Pod™ is an ingenious positioning stand that allows easy placement of the speaker in either a vertical or horizontal position. It also allows easy aiming of the speaker towards the listener, while acoustically and mechanically isolating the speaker from the surface on which it is placed. The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) feature ensures that power consumption remains as low as possible when the speaker is not in use. When automatically entering Standby mode, the speaker's power consumption is less than 0.5W.

Together with the Genelec F One subwoofer, the G Two forms an excellent and very high-performance stereo speaker combination. If you are planning a surround system with G Two speakers, our recommendation for a subwoofer is the F Two.
