The new injection-molded IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) cone of the GAS MAD subwoofers is stiff and built to last. Not to mention, this orange-coned MAD element is outrageously cool.

USG "Unity Surround Gasket"
The top suspension of the GAS MAD subwoofers is "one piece" with the rubber surround encircling the element. This eliminates uneven cone movement.

"Keep it cool"
When playing loud, voice coil cooling is paramount. GAS MAD subwoofers feature a DCS (Dual Ventilation System) that reduces voice coil heating and ensures longer-lasting bass thumps.

Looks matter
On the frame of the MAD elements, you'll find details like the "M" letter and stylish GAS logos, which also function as voice coil cooling vents. The element's dust cap is made from the same injection-molded polypropylene as the cone, but with a stylish GAS logo.

What kind of enclosure?
GAS MAD subwoofers are suitable for both sealed and ported enclosures! For all enclosure options, we strongly recommend adding polyfill. The correct amount depends on listening preferences, and the amount of polyfill can significantly affect the sound.

Regardless of the vehicle, the GAS MAD series is designed for everyone who wants a good-sounding subwoofer that plays loud but doesn't cause major turbulence to their bank account. The elements have a single four-ohm voice coil, so with two MAD subwoofers, you can achieve a two-ohm load for the amplifier by wiring the elements in parallel. If you want even more street cred (and sound pressure), with four elements, you can create a one-ohm load for the amplifier.
