Powerful GAS MAD A2 amplifier range!

The GAS MAD A2 sits above the popular MAD A1 range, while also replacing the previous PRP amplifier range.
The new MAD A2 amplifiers use improved components in their preamps, which takes sound quality to a new level. In addition, the amplifier's very stylish cooling profile is pleasing to the eye while ensuring that the amplifier's temperature remains under control, which in turn improves the amplifier's performance.

The GAS MAD A2-600.1DFL is a full-range, class-D mono amplifier, so you can also use it to drive mids instead of a subwoofer. For this purpose, the amplifier also has bandpass crossovers, which allow you to cut off the lowest and highest frequencies when using mids.

Stay cool…
Compared to the more affordable MAD A1 series, the MAD A2 amplifiers have a larger cooling profile. In addition, the amplifier has ventilation openings at the ends and the amplifier's end profiles are higher than the amplifier's cooling profile, which allows air to circulate under the amplifier as well.
We recommend 35mm² cables for the power and grounding side.

Versatile filters
The MAD A2 crossover filters are very versatile and all filters cut off with a 12dB slope. You can use the MAD A2-600.1DFL crossover filters as low-pass filters, high-pass filters or bandpass filters, which is the best option for mids or midrange, for example, where you can cut off both the highest and lowest frequencies.
The high-pass filter is adjustable from 15 to 4000 hertz, the adjustable range for the low-pass filter is 50 to 4000 hertz, and in bandpass mode the adjustable range is 15 to 4000 hertz.

Clip light
Sometimes you need to get the most out of your equipment. To make this easier, the amplifier has a clip light. If the signal is distorted by more than one percent, the clip light will start flashing orange. If the distortion increases beyond this, the amplifier will go into protection mode.
The GAS MAD A2-600.1DFL also includes a level controller with clip light.

MAD LINK – double the power!
Is one amplifier not enough? You can use the GAS MAD LINK feature and link two MAD A2-600.1DFL amplifiers. The connection is very easy, as you link the “Primary” amplifier with a single RCA cable to the “Secondary” amplifier and bring the speaker wires to the element as shown in the picture. From the Primary amplifier, you select the correct levels and crossover filters, as the settings of the secondary amplifier have no effect in the MAD LINK connection.

Note: Linking cannot be done with two different amplifiers, the amplifiers must be the same model. In this case 2 x GAS MAD A2-600.1DFL
