The redesigned user interface allows easy track selection, favoriting, and other essential functions directly from the Play's own touchscreen. And if you wish, you can use the visually renewed Eversolo Control app and its most user-friendly features. Eversolo Control is available for both Android devices and iPhone/iPad.

The 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen is clear to the eyes and responsive to the touch. You can also display classic VU meters that pulse with the music, with several different styles to choose from. The front panel is crowned by an RGB color space-reproducing light ring around the volume control. Do you want strong orange for rock, subtle blue for blues, deep green for country...? The light ring transforms your favorite tunes into visible light art.

The Eversolo Play CD Edition version also offers a CD player. The manufacturer combines a genuine Hitachi-LG CD-ROM drive with a vibration-damping chassis that significantly reduces resonance when the disc spins. Special error correction algorithms improve compatibility with scratched and aging discs. The CD Edition model also supports the CD Ripper application, allowing the user to transfer CDs to the device.

WOL or Wake-up On LAN

Wake-up On LAN keeps Eversolo Play ready to wake up as soon as you start playing music from the app. This way, the networked device's power consumption is low, but it wakes up quickly when you want to play your favorite music.

Listen at Will

The "Listen at Will" function in Eversolo Play plays recommended songs in random order from your local music library and the streaming services you're logged into. This helps you break free from the narrow suggestions of algorithms and fill your musical journey with pleasant surprises.

Room Correction

Room correction minimizes distortions in sound tone caused by the room. You'll get the best results with Play's room correction using a separate measurement microphone like the Eversolo EM-01, but you can also use your phone's or tablet's microphone for correction. Eversolo Room Correction automatically identifies small bedrooms and large living rooms, intelligently removes the effects of harmful reflections, resulting in more natural, lively, and authentic music reproduction in any space.

PFC-LLC power supply and intelligent amplifier functions

Power Factor Correction and Inductor-Inductor-Capacitor arrangement optimizes amplifier efficiency, minimizing wasted power and unnecessary heat load. NTC thermistors continuously monitor the amplifier section's temperature, protecting against overheating and limiting inrush current at startup.

PurePath Ultra HD technology and advanced integrated feedback keep distortion to a minimum across the entire frequency range. Play delivers power to speakers very well, 60 + 60 W into an 8-ohm load and 100 + 100 W into a 4-ohm load. This is smoothly sufficient for driving many types of speakers.

Built-in 15-band graphic equalizer and 10-band parametric equalizer separately for each channel provide tools for shaping the sound to your taste as well as for manual room correction. Additionally, there are 23 sound presets from EDM to jazz and blues to classical, allowing you to find the right mood-fitting sound at the touch of a button.

Eversolo Play includes a bass controller that allows you to filter the lowest frequencies to a separate subwoofer and tune the subwoofer to operate precisely in phase with your main speakers. This achieves seamless subwoofer integration into the system and credibly lively reproduction down to the lowest frequencies. The crossover frequency between the subwoofer and main speakers is adjustable from 40 Hz to 500 Hz.

For watching TV, you don't need to change anything except be prepared for the chills down your spine during exciting movie scenes produced by the Play and the connected pair of speakers.

There are dedicated RCA connectors for a turntable (compatible with MM and MC cartridges) and a ground terminal, another RCA pair for a line-level source (or an external RIAA corrector for a turntable). Digital inputs include both coaxial and optical, plus two USB 3.0s.

In addition to sturdy gold-plated speaker terminals, there is a subwoofer output and a coaxial digital output. Gigabit Ethernet ensures that even the most bandwidth-demanding high-quality hi-res music files are handled smoothly. On the USB side, you can connect both a USB mass storage device full of your favorite music and an external USB-DA converter.
