The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a versatile DAC and headphone amplifier with excellent sound quality, built uncompromisingly both mechanically and electrically.

Eversolo DAC-Z10 – a top-tier DAC without the top-tier price

The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a technically and audibly excellent DAC for the demanding user. Precise and accurate, yet not laboratory-sterile, but rather vividly pleasant – bringing out even the smallest details naturally, thus making the music captivating. In terms of sound quality, the DAC-Z10, together with the Eversolo T8 streamer, is on par with the manufacturer's flagship DMP-A10.

Both the left and right channels have their own dual-circuit DACs: AK4191EQ and AK4499EXEQ for the left, and another set of AK4191EQ and AK4499EXEQ for the right. There are three linear power supplies, one for the left channel, one for the right, and another separate one for other system uses. The analog preamplifier section is fully balanced, and the volume control uses an R2R circuit.

The headphone amplifier delivers a full watt per channel into 16 and 32 ohm loads, with an optimal impedance range of 16 – 300 ohms. The amplifier automatically detects the headphone impedance and adjusts its operation accordingly. Additionally, the user can select high, medium, or low gain based on their headphones' sensitivity and typical listening volumes.

The user interface is a large 8.8-inch IPS touchscreen, and at the core of the technical implementation are completely separated digital and analog sections. This minimizes interference between signals and ensures that music is reproduced as accurately to the original as possible.

The DAC-Z10 natively supports signals up to DSD 512 and PCM 768kHz/32bit. The R2R, or resistor-ladder, digitally controlled analog volume attenuator keeps the signal in its original form regardless of the control position. Whether you listen very quietly or at full blast, every nuance of the music remains unchanged, and you hear a clean, precise, and faithful reproduction of the original performance.

The preamplifier stage outputs the signal both unbalanced via RCA connectors and as true balanced via XLR connectors.
