Eversolo AMP-F2

The Eversolo AMP-F2 complements Eversolo's range of network streamers and D/A converters with a compact power amplifier that seamlessly fits in with the external dimensions of Eversolo's other products. The AMP-F2 was designed in collaboration with Starke Sound. The AMP-F2 utilizes Starke Sound's NS600 amplifier module; this, combined with the amplifier's SAPS switching power supply, ensures excellent efficiency, very good signal-to-noise ratio, and low distortion values. The AMP-F2 can also be switched to "mono" mode, which further increases the amplifier's versatility.

Plenty of power from a compact casing

Based on the NS600 amplifier module, the AMP-F2 is capable of producing 2 x 145W RMS at 8 ohms | 2 x 250W RMS at 4 ohms of output power. When switched to mono, these figures increase even further. The amplifier operates stably down to 2-ohm loads. Thus, in terms of electrical values, the amplifier is compatible with virtually all commercial loudspeakers on the market.

The casing is made of aluminum, and its features have also been optimized with sound quality in mind – the casing also acts as a heat conductor, which helps maintain the optimal operating temperature of the components, and effectively prevents the influence of electromagnetic interference on the amplifier's circuitry. This feature is particularly beneficial in situations where several other electronic devices, whose power supplies, etc., may produce interference, are in the same space and close to the amplifier. Usability

The AMP-F2 includes 5-12V trigger inputs and outputs. This enables effortless and reliable On/Off control with other components manufactured with trigger outputs and inputs in the system. In other words, when you start playing music, for example, on an EverSolo DMP-A6, it automatically instructs the power amplifier to turn on, and when you stop playing music and the DMP-A6 goes into power-saving mode, it simultaneously puts the power amplifier into that state.
