DLS Cruise CRPP-VO1.6CX is a model-specific coaxial speaker that fits into the rear doors of many different Volvo models. The speaker set is designed for easy installation and comes with a step-by-step pictorial (English) installation guide.
Better sound, easily?
If you are not satisfied with your car's current audio system, changing the speakers will make the biggest difference to the sound. Changing speakers may sound like a complicated procedure, but DLS Cruise series are designed to be easy to install, even if you have no prior experience in changing speakers.
You don't need to cut wires or solder new ones, or buy car model-specific installation adapters. The Cruise series comes with all the necessary components, and you only need a few basic tools, with the exception that in some models the speakers may be fastened with pop rivets that need to be drilled open.
All connectors in the speaker set fit directly into your car's original connectors.

High sensitivity
The CRPP-VO1.6CX elements have high sensitivity, which means you don't need a separate amplifier to drive these speakers. The speakers work excellent even with the car's original head unit, even though factory-installed head unit amplifiers are generally more or less modest.
However, with a separate amplifier, you will get even more punch and dynamics in the sound, and of course, more volume. The CRPP-VO1.6CX has an RMS power handling of 90W, which is exceptionally high in the category of model-specific speakers.

These coaxial speakers are also suitable for the front doors of Volvo models, but for the front doors, we strongly recommend the component set from the same series, CRPP-VO1.6, where the tweeter is placed in its original location. In the front door, a component set performs significantly better than a coaxial speaker.
