The DNP-3000NE is Denon's flagship direct-drive turntable. Its robust construction and S-shaped tonearm produce detailed and clear music. The dark ebony natural wood veneer also makes the player a beautiful object.
The DNP-3000NE is Denon®'s flagship direct-drive turntable. Its robust construction and S-shaped tonearm produce detailed and clear music. The dark ebony natural wood veneer also makes the player a beautiful object.
Every design aspect has been chosen to ensure precise reproduction, from the S-shaped tonearm to the powerful direct-drive motor and excellent adjustability. The robust construction and highly insulating feet are designed for the strength and high density required for resonance-free music playback. The dark ebony natural wood veneered chassis features a metal platter, tonearm, and controls.
Denon's original static balance S-shaped tonearm
The player features a carefully designed S-shaped tonearm with an optimized tracking angle at all points of the record. This newly improved Denon® tonearm includes cartridge tracking force adjustment, anti-skate adjustment (0-3g tracking force), and newly developed tonearm height adjustment (0-9mm). It gives you full flexibility to customize your turntable for your preferred cartridges or custom platter mat. The headshell, equipped with an SME bayonet connector, complies with the SME Bayonet standard, making it easy to change and remove for cartridge installation.
Direct-drive motor system
In line with Denon's tradition of direct-drive motor systems, the rotational speed does not fluctuate regardless of the selected speed or load. The technology is easy to use, requires little maintenance, and reaches full speed almost instantly. Denon released its first direct-drive turntable, the DN-302F, in 1970 for broadcasting studios.
Space Vector PWM motor control
Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SV-PWM) is a new implementation for motor speed control. SV-PWM is an algorithm used to control the PWM module, which effectively acts as the motor's power supply. SV-PWM significantly reduces harmonic ripple in the motor, which can cause overheating and torque fluctuations. It also provides consistently reliable voltage and frequency output during long listening sessions, regardless of rotational speed or load.
SMPS power supply
A Switched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) is an excellent choice for a turntable because it avoids the detrimental vibrations caused by a linear transformer. It allows the power supply to be integrated into the turntable, eliminating the need for an external transformer. It also effectively eliminates voltage and frequency fluctuations caused by the mains.
Adjustable isolation feet
The isolation feet are key to protecting playback from any vibration that may be transmitted to the turntable from the environment. However, the feet are also adjustable to ensure perfect platter balance, allowing the stylus to track the groove as accurately as possible.
Rotation speed selection
The player supports speeds of 33 1/3, 45, and 78 revolutions per minute.
MDF chassis with ebony veneer
The chassis is made of solid MDF, providing a rigid structure for the best performance and sound quality. The matte natural wood veneer ensures a beautiful finish.
Removable dust cover
A beautiful, crystal-clear, and easily removable cover protects the turntable when not in use - or even while playing a record.
