ORIGINAL DENON HEADSHELL WITH STYLISH ANNIVERSARY FINISH
Following the original product developed in the 1960s for radio broadcasts, the DL-A110's silver-graphite headshell is an exact replica of the original design. Weighing only 6 grams, the DL-A110 headshell ensures the cartridge remains securely in place and perfectly prevents resonances that interfere with playback, leading to detailed and clean audio reproduction with exceptional low-frequency extension. The DL-A110 is equipped with a bayonet connector, also known as an SME tonearm connection.
The premium elegant silver-graphite color beautifully complements Denon's 110th anniversary product line.
Denon's Longest Continuously Produced Product
The DL-A110 includes the legendary DL-103 cartridge, which has been in continuous production since 1964, using copper wire hand-wound at Denon's Shirakawa factory in Japan.
The DL-103 was originally developed to apply the high standards for vinyl record playback from Japan's national public broadcasting studios to wideband FM stereo broadcasts, becoming the official standard cartridge used in those studios. Subsequently, almost all professional broadcasting studios in Japan adopted it.
Certificate of Authenticity and 5-Year Warranty
By acquiring the Limited Edition DL-A110 anniversary product, you will receive a certificate of authenticity endorsed by Denon's chief engineer. The device also comes with a 5-year warranty directly out of the box (excluding the phono cartridge stylus).
