DD Audio Z415 - Flagship Subwoofer
The DD Audio Z15 is a 15-inch subwoofer from the Z series. The Z series is DD Audio's flagship range, made possible by DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing high-end subwoofers. It combines the latest innovations in technology and materials with precise, handcrafted assembly.
The result is a completely different subwoofer, with performance far beyond what has been accustomed to until now.
In the magnet structure, Neodymium rods are symmetrically positioned vertically around the voice coil. This reduces stray flux and increases the magnetic force on the voice coil. Additionally, the open magnet structure allows for extremely efficient voice coil cooling.
DD Audio does not provide any numerical power handling rating for the driver. However, the power handling is sufficient for most needs. A single Z-series driver has already surpassed 180 dB multiple times in dB Drag Race competitions.
Note! This driver is also available with different cone colors, dust caps, and impedances (0.25Ω, 0.5Ω, 0.75Ω, 1.5Ω, 2Ω).
