The DD Audio 700 "G" revision includes significant improvements to the motor structure: longer voice coils, a thicker top plate (and thus a deeper magnetic gap), and a more robust magnet assembly. These features allow for extremely large excursion, efficient heat dissipation, and improved voice coil control, resulting in more powerful, cleaner, and more impactful bass (the 12-inch model's Xmax increased to 30 millimeters (one-way)).

With the increased excursion, the speaker's suspensions have also been designed to meet the new requirements. A higher surround, attached to the cone with double stitching. A multi-layered spider ensures better control, tighter bass, and longer durability for the speaker.

The 700g series is available with 2x2 or 2x4 ohm voice coils. The coil diameter is 3″. 10″, 12″, and 15″ speakers are available.
