The DD Audio 700 "G" revision includes significant improvements to the motor structure: longer voice coils, a thicker top plate (and thus a deeper magnet gap), and a more robust magnet assembly. These features allow for a truly large excursion, efficient heat dissipation, and better voice coil control, which produces more powerful, cleaner, and more impactful bass (the 10-inch model's Xmax increased to 26 millimeters (one-way)).

With the increased excursion, the driver suspensions have also been designed to meet the new requirements. A higher surround, which is attached to the cone with double stitching. The multi-layer spider guarantees better control for the driver, tighter bass, and longer durability.

The 700g series is available with 2x2 or 2x4 ohm voice coils. The coil diameter is 3″. 10″, 12″ and 15″ drivers are available.
