Cambridge Audio Edge A – British high-end

The Cambridge Audio Edge A integrated amplifier is designed entirely around music. A step forward in the Edge A was achieved by using opposing toroidal transformers. This eliminates electromagnetic interference while providing excellent power and maintaining a consistent tone. Using traditional Class A amplifier technology is not efficient enough for the Edge A. Instead, we increased the bias voltage to the level of a traditional Class AB amplifier. This unique configuration produces less heat and makes the entire system much more efficient.

The same new series also includes the Edge NQ and Edge W. Connect your own music source to the device to easily stream your music. With Bluetooth AptX HD support, you can play audio at up to 24-bit / 48 kHz quality. This flagship series was created to honor Cambridge Audio's 50-year journey in hi-fi equipment.
