Aalto 1 Evo Bookshelf Speaker Pair

The new AALTO 1 EVO is an updated version of the already excellent AALTO 1. The updated EVO features a completely redesigned crossover and a unique 3D-printed reflex tube, specifically designed for this speaker. Significant improvements have been achieved in the EVO's performance!

The AALTO 1 EVO is a mini-sized speaker and is therefore naturally suited for various uses.

It is designed to be used in traditional bookshelf placement, as well as on a TV stand to improve the often quite poor sound of current flat-screen TVs, as a high-quality computer speaker on a desk, or even as a wall-mounted studio monitor.

For this purpose, the AALTO 1 EVO has a 1/4" thread on its back plate for wall or ceiling mounting.

The enclosure is manufactured by injection molding from natural fiber composite, which is a completely domestic and recyclable material. The properties of natural fiber composite as a speaker material are unbeatable. The material allows for the use of many times thicker material compared to ordinary plastics, and the vibration properties of the composite are also superior to these.

The design of the AALTO 1 EVO enclosure takes into account a unique, clear Scandinavian design language, as well as the boundary conditions determined by the laws of acoustics.

The enclosure's double-curved surfaces ensure natural structural rigidity, and the forward-tapering shape minimizes internal standing waves.

The technical implementation follows the successful formula familiar from all AALTO speakers – the AALTO 1's bass driver produces deep, punchy bass response that extends incredibly low for its size, and the WLR1 tweeter unit delivers clear highs and a pure mid-range that integrates seamlessly with the bass.
