S60 / V70 / XC70 2005 – 2009 2-DIN player installation kit

1-DIN / 2-DIN player installation kit.

This kit allows you to install a 1-DIN or 2-DIN player in your car. The kit includes a steering wheel remote control adapter that allows your car's original steering wheel buttons to work with the aftermarket player (check the features of your player to make sure this function works).

The plastic frame is by default for 1-DIN installation, but when the center bar of the frame is sawn off, the frame can be used for 2-DIN installation.
When using 2-DIN, the mounting hole is 113mm high, so make sure the metal frame that comes with your player is the right size.

• 1-DIN storage compartment
• Antenna adapter
• Steering wheel remote control adapter
• Amplifier adapter to make Volvo's original amplifier work with an aftermarket car stereo
• Instrument-specific Multilead for e.g. Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer instruments.

• S60 2005 – 2009
• V70 2005 – 2007
• XC70 2005 – 2007

The set only fits 2005-> facelift models, where the original instrument panel has a silver-colored decorative frame around it.

The installation kit is suitable for cars with HU-6** and HU-8** car stereos. The model of the original car stereo can be found in the lower right corner of the car stereo's front panel.
The DIN-RCA amplifier adapter is connected to a six-pin DIN cable. The 8-pin connector is for the CD changer, which will be out of use when replacing the player.

Note

• If your car has a factory-installed reversing camera, this will be disabled when you replace the player. If you want the reversing camera to remain in use, please contact your dealer.
• If the car has a factory-installed CD changer, this will be disabled when the player is replaced.
