ESB passive crossovers are carefully designed to complement the precise characteristics of ESB loudspeakers. Each crossover circuit directs the signal to the tweeters and woofers to maintain a consistent acoustic response across the entire audio spectrum. The 3.6K3 HECX uses a high-quality, discrete Alu E-Cap capacitor, a high-quality aluminum foil capacitor designed specifically for passive crossovers (tweeter and mid-range elements). It utilizes a much thinner dielectric insulation compared to the market standard. The use of a thinner dielectric allows for a capacitor with less \"memory\" and a much faster response. Compared to electrolytic capacitors, the Alu E-Cap brings more clarity and a slightly more natural high frequency balance to the audio system.
